Never Heard Of Him...

The Lozi people live in the Western province of Zambia. In the early 2000's, the Joshua project listed the Lozi as the largest unreached people group in Southern Africa. Lance traveled with our dear friend Pastor Lawrence Chileshe and a small team to visit the people. They visited village after village. Coke-a-Cola was everywhere, but nobody seemed to know the name of Jesus. They showed the Jesus film, and people responded overwhelmingly. Through the years, the work among the Lozi has grown - now the name of Jesus is regularly proclaimed, churches have been planted and the Lozi have been removed from the list of Unreached Peoples. To God alone be all the glory for His great work...

After the initial trip Lance said, "May we never forget that millions of people in villages know the name 'Coke' before they hear the name of 'Jesus.'"

Our great God called Himself by names that reflect His nature and His character. May we take every opportunity to proclaim the greatness of His precious Name in every dark corner of the earth.
